DREAMHOUSE HIGH SCHOOL PRE-APPLICATION

FOR 8TH GRADE STUDENT LEADERS AT DREAMHOUSE

Aloha 8th Grade Student Leader,

Welcome to the Pre-Application to DreamHouse High School. In the spring of 2022, 8th graders at DreamHouse will begin the journey of applying to and moving on to high school. This pre-application is the first step in that journey.

If you choose to apply to the DreamHouse High School, you are committing to DreamHouse, and if accepted, committing to join the founding cohort of the DreamHouse High School. If your Pre-Application to DreamHouse High School is approved, you will be pre-accepted to join DreamHouse High School.

If you choose not to pre-apply, you can still earn entrance to DreamHouse High School through,

(1) Successful completion of 8th grade;

(2) successful End of Year portfolio defense and promotion; and

(3) Application to and acceptance to DreamHouse High School.

PRE-APPLICATION:

There are four (4) components to the DreamHouse High School Pre-Application:

(1) Pre-Application (link below)

(2) Grade Check (Coaches Complete);

(3) Coach Sponsor (link below);

(4) Leadership Statement & Personal Goals (part of Pre-Application)

Below is the Pre-Application. If you would like to pre-apply to DreamHouse High School please (1) complete this form, and (2) ask two Coaches to complete the Sponsor Form (Coaches will have this on their end).

FINAL NOTE: Pre-Application and approval is one part of earning promotion; 8th grade student leaders still need to successfully complete 8th grade (i.e. no F's, and preferably no D's) and successfully present and defend the End of Year portfolio.
